Due to having quite parched, dry skin, even in the warmer months, I love using facial mists to keep my skin feeling hydrated and refreshed.
Caudalie’s Beauty Elixir, The Body Shop’s Vitamin E Face Mist and Jurlique’s Rosewater Balancing Mist are my top 3 picks. I have found since using these, on a daily basis, whether I am at work, at home, in the garden, or before bed, these wonder products seem to keep my skin nicely hydrated.
Caudalie is my all time favourite pick, so much so I am now on my 4th bottle. As soon as I run low, I head straight to Feel Unique to stock up. 30ml for £10.95 or 100ml for £30.40.
The last bottle I ordered was the L’Wren Scott Limited Edition bottle, these are still in stock and the bottle adds a certain something to your dressing table. Very classy. Caudalie’s Beauty Elxir is so versatile; I sometimes I have used this as a toner, however its also great to set makeup with and perfect for a long flight. The mist is very fine, smells slightly herbal/minty and soaks in quickly.
Slightly cheaper is Jurlique’s Rosewater Balancing Mist. Again it refreshes the skin beautifully, and you guessed it, smells of roses! Another lovely, lovely mist. If you prefer something not quite as heavy as Caudalie, this does smell lighter. £21.50 for 100 ml or £16.50 for 50ml. This wonder mist contains a wide range of goodies to look after your skin. Marshmallow and Glycerin help prevent moisture loss and intensely hydrate and soften the skin. Rose and Aloe Vera soften, soothe and calm. Grapefruit Seed provides antioxidant protection.
Now if you love Jurlique’s offering, but want something cheaper, I have pretty much found a great dupe from The Body Shop. Their Vitamin E Face Mist is £8.00 for 100ml.
Again this is an excellent product for setting make-up. This is more delicately scented than Jurlique’s, however is just as good.
I have found adding a mist to my routine, really helps keep dry patches at bay. If you are like me and have dry skin, pick up one of these, it does really help.
