Shopping in Carnaby Street & Portobello Road.

Carnaby Street

Brandy Melville, Carnaby Street
As you may all know, recently I attended the Cosmo Superblogger Masterclass in London, so while I was there I was keen to have a little shop. Just a little one! Would be rude not to!
Instead of the usual Regent Street and Bond Street, we decided to start off with Carnaby Street.  After all, I had heard there is a Brandy Melville shop, which I had been wanting to go to for ages. As far as I am aware there are 2 shops in the UK, Carnaby Street and on the Kings Road , both in London.
Currently you cannot place an order online.  I popped in and the decor is sooo me! I loved it.  I didn’t buy much just a basic grey jumper which was £15 and a couple of midi rings, £3 and £4.

Brandy Melville’s was lovely, I so wish they had more stores, or you could buy online. Bang opposite is Pixi, again I am a big fan of their products.  I shockingly did not buy a sausage! We headed off around the corner where there is a trendy Monki shop, benefit and Muji. A Beauty bloggers paradise. Things to buy and storage to put them in. I love it around this area of London. For something a little different, we jumped on the tube to go to Portobello Road/Market.  We had time to kill before the Bloggers Event.

It was lovely to get away from the constant bustle of Carnaby Street and to head to the quieter part of Portobello Road (I think the ‘full’ market wasn’t on when we visited, so it was quiet compared to normal).  It is a bargain hunters paradise, there really is something for everyone.  London is a fantastic city and I will be back there again in 2 weeks time, yay!
  • Looks like you had a great day! I love around Carnaby St as well – a wee bit less manic than Oxford st! xx

  • I definitely wish I used Carnaby Street more often while I was living in London it so nice. I also didn't visit Portobello or Notting Hill more than one time, so I will be going back there. I used to go to Westfield for bigger shopping trips as I found it easier with all the stores closer together and not as busy as Oxford Street and Regent Street 🙂

  • Ah sounds like you had a fab time 🙂

I love Carnaby Street but have shockingly never to Portobello. I must rectify this at some point in the summer! xx
