I have been trying to get into eyeliner a little more recently. ScandalEyes from Rimmel are a brilliant purse friendly buy, however I wanted to try one of these more expensive guys for myself. The colour range is fantastic, how can you possibly choose? There is a colour to suit everyone, and in one family of colours there are so many colours to choose from. Being a natural kind of girl and having blue eyes I opted for the beautiful, rich coloured Smog.
Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils are very popular amongst the Blogging community, You Tubers and makeup artists.
To apply this, I have just been wearing a little smudged into my lower waterline. I do not think they Glide-On as easily as the name suggests though. I did find I had to apply a little more pressure than I would have liked to, and a couple of coats to achieve the desired look. The intensity of the colour is beautiful though. My blue eyes really popped. I did feel really pretty wearing this. The colour is perfect for my fair colouring, not too harsh. If you are fair skinned/blonde too, then this colour is well worth trying. Highly pigmented, ever so slightly metallic. You could wear Smog day or night. I am impressed with the lasting power, it lasted not 24 hrs as the name suggests, but a good 8.
I really, really liked this pencil. Yes at £14.00, it is certainly more pricey than the Rimmel ScandalEyes (I believe £3.99). However for the colour selection available and the lasting power, I am really impressed. Will definately be trying more in the future. Find me here.
