First of all L’Oreal have hit the packaging on the mark with this product. It is sleek. The contrast between the black pump and transparent red lid look attractive to the eye.
The actual foundation is freshly scented, it is actually quite nice, and smells good for a foundation. The consistency is quite thick and creamy, it reminds me very much of MAC Studio Fix Fluid. So if you are looking for a cheaper alternative, this may be a good one, and L’Oreal even provide the pump, whereas MAC don’t! Even though it is quite thick and heavy, it is beautiful to blend, the coverage is fantastic covering all blemishes and redness.
I used 1 and a half pumps for my whole face, and that was the perfect amount. It creates a beautiful finish to the skin. It is matte; if you are looking for a dewy, natural finish this is not it. However if you want something for night-time or you prefer higher coverage then this is a really cracking, well worth-the-money foundation. Yes, heavy for day time especially in Summer, however if you need a long wearing foundation then this is an absolute smasher!
This product evens skin tone perfectly, doesn’t sit in fine lines. It lasts absolutely ages and just looks beautiful. The colour match is spot on, I opted for Vanilla 120 – this matched my skin tone beautifully. It seems to have a slight yellowy tone to the foundation, which seems to counter-act any redness. My skin looked radiant even thought the coverage is high and skin felt hydrated.
I really, really like this, a great foundation and great all-rounder! Definately a new favourite.
