Yet another brow product. I am creating quite a collection of brow gels, brow sets, pencils and waxes now. The latest one to jump into my Muji drawers is Rimmel’s Brow This Way.
I opted for the colour Blonde . Which is actually a fairly warm toned brown. This is slightly too warm for me, however would be perfect for those flame haired beauty’s out there. I personally prefer a cooler tone on my brows, so on reflection if I repurchase I will try the Mid Brown.
In a small handy tube, I really like the formula of this gel. Now I’m no brow gel novice, I have tried a wide range from £3 to £25. Benefit to Maybelline, Tarte and MAC. So I was intrigued to see if Rimmel’s Brow This Way could match up.
The wand is on the chunky side, twice the size of Benefit’s Gimme Brow. I find it slightly too large, and prefer a smaller wand for precision, however it coats the hairs well and gives good coverage. It did seem to clump up a little and get stuck in the bristles. The gel sets the hairs in place for pretty much all day and the colour doesn’t fade.
For a dinky tube this is a pretty good bit of equipment at a bargain price. Groomed brows all for the sum of £2.99, find me here.
Available in Blonde, Mid Brown, Dark Brown and Clear. If you are on a budget, this is certainly a great alternative to the higher end products, which essentially nearly does the same job. A purse friendly decent product.
