Soap and Glory must be one of my absolute favourite brands. They have it all. Skin care and makeup. Great packaging, great products, great prices and great results. I love pretty much everything I have ever tried. Apart from the Peaches And Clean cleanser, which dried my dry skin out even more. Sorry S and G. Anyway I wanted to give these 3 products some love today. As a beauty blogger and someone who is always on the lookout for products to help me make the best of my complexion, these 3 are regulars on the scene.
After I have applied my chosen foundation, BB cream or CC cream, I do like to set it in place with a fine, non-heavy powder. One Heck Of A Blot is perfect for this. Beautiful and easy to blend. Non cakey and it leaves a lovely finish to the skin.
Now I must admit I am actually a bronze-a-holic. I’m not talking fake tan, I cannot remember the last time I stained the sheets or smelt of biscuits. I’m talking bronzer. For my skin tone and type, I find that bronzers just work. Solar Powder is beautiful, not muddy or orange.
The 2 colours swirled together warm up my complexion just perfectly to leave skin radiant. Not so long ago I hit pan on Nars Laguna. I had been using that for as long as I can remember with a little bit of Benefit’s Hoola in between. This has overtaken them both. I am always on a quest to have a Victoria’s Secret glow and this just about does it. Love, love, love it!
So now our complexion is set, surely we need a highlighter to finish off the job properly?
Glow All Out had been at the back of my Muji drawers for a while. This little baby has not had any love for a long while. It was time it came out of redundancy and saw the light of day again. I forgot what a lovely sheen and glow it gives to the cheeks. It gives the perfect amount of glow used sparingly. Lit from within.
Have you tried these powders from Soap and Glory? What do you think?
