I seem to have been invited to do many tags lately, so thanks to all you lovely ladies who have thought of me. I am really excited to post my top 10, so thanks to Speaking Beauty UK for letting me in on this one.
Let me start by saying this is no means a comprehensive list. I love so many different products and as I am always trying new things, my top 10 could change all the time. However the 10 products on this list for me are Holy Grail. Products I would continue to repurchase and always seem to reach for. If I am switching my routine up a little, these products always seem to feature at some point or another.
Enough waffling, let’s go…….
I had long been a fan of Estee Lauder Doublewear (I still am), however at the moment I am totally loving Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua, and my skin loves it too. Not sure when you will be reading this if my Chanel review would have gone up yet. It may be up already, if not keep an eye out, as it will be up soon. This foundation is gorgeous though, leaves a lovely sheen to the skin, beautiful to blend and still gives really great coverage.
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard. Love, love this stuff. Great at covering blemishes and redness and so creamy, it does not get cakey at all.
Still loving Soap & Glory’s One Heck of a Blot. Lightweight and finely milled. It works beautifully with the Chanel foundation.
For me, at the moment So Susan’s Universal Blush is really lovely. This was in a Glossybox a couple of months ago. I have used it so much, it provides a lovely warm flushed glow to the skin. Perfect now we are heading into Autumn.
I am now back on the Laguna. I had been using Soap & Glory’s Solar Powder for a while, but Nars is reigning supreme at the moment, I actually forgot how much I love this and what a great job it does. It is the perfect ‘tan’ colour. No muddy or orange cheeks here sister, yay! Perfect to contour with or just to provide a healthy glow. Also great as an eyeshadow (in the crease).
The Balm’s Mary-Lou Manizer is still the highlighter I would choose if I could only have one in my collection. Skin looks radiant and pretty using this. Perfect especially with a tan and in the warmer months. This is the best and most pigmented highlighter I have ever used. A little goes a long way.
At the moment, I have gone back to drugstore mascaras and left the hefty price tag of YSL alone. Bourjois’ Volume 1 Seconde mascara, has seriously impressed me. Creating volume, length, non-clumpy, jet black lashes. No flaking either. Great stuff.
I don’t wear eyeshadow every day. Mainly because I don’t get the time before work and also I cannot be bothered to blend every day. My favourite all timer is MAC’s Velux Pearl in Woodwinked. A beautiful bronze (metallic/golden toned) creamy shadow that really makes my blue eyes pop. Love, love, love.
To finish off the brows, again I go for MAC’s Brow Set. I love Benefit’s Gimme Brow. However this was the original brow gel I started off with. It provides more colour than Gimme Brow and keeps brows neat all day with no stickiness. I also find that the product in the tube doesn’t dry out to quickly either.
10. Lip product
I am loving Tanya Burr’s Picnic in the Park Lipgloss. Smells great, love the formula and I absolutely love this colour. I like to have flawless skin, long fluttery doll-like lashes, paired with this pinky lipgloss, It makes me feel very pretty.
I must say wherever this tag originated from, it is a really great tag. A snapshot into the best loved products out there. I enjoyed writing this immensely. Thanks again Renata!
Please let me know if you do this tag, would love to discover some new products. I tag everyone.
