My name is Georgie and I am a reformed shop-a-holic.
I must say I’m not like I used to be. I used to be very flippant and literally buy everything. I have certainly calmed down as I have become older. Hopefully this post will become a regular series, letting you all see what I have been spending my money on, not just clothes and makeup. Enjoy.
1 – Bumble and Bumble Shampoo
Treat time! A fresh smelling, clarifying shampoo, perfect for weekly use, to remove impurities, excess oil and product build up. Just perfect to wash away the weeks woes and start afresh from Monday! And yes when I use this it will be on a Sunday.
2 – Rimmel Provocalips – Make Your Move
Bombarded with glossy TV ads, I caved. Provocalips got the better of me. I always quite the liked the Apocalips from Rimmel, so when their sister came on the scene, I was intrigued to try. I opted for the shade 730 ‘Make you Move’. Keep an eye out as a full review will be up soon. 16 hour wear, uuummm I am not convinced.
3 – Tickets for Gone Girl
As soon as I clapped eyes on the trailer I knew I had to see this film. I have had the book for ages, still untouched, mainly as I haven’t had the time. Us beauty bloggers, live such busy lives, hey? I saw this film the other night. Tense, filled with twists and drama. AMAZING. A great watch. If you love thrillers, head to your local multiplex. I cannot wait to read the book.
4 – Birkenstock Arizonas
So I did it. After years of thinking of getting a new pair, I bought them. In October. Crazy? No. Sensible? Yes. It took me ages to track these babies down. Nubuck, size 8 – yes I have quite big feet. These are staying nicely boxed away until Spring next year. I am so organised if I do say so myself. Jesus sandals. Great with jeans, great for your feet. I am looking forward to wearing these with a perfect pedi already.
5 – Converse All Stars
And for when I want to cover my soles up. Converse. Comfortable, trendy, cool, iconic, must-have, timeless. That’s all I need to say.
