Seriously there are so many great products out there at the moment, how do you choose? And how much more storage will we all need? As well as adding more products to my makeup collection and drawers, my bookshelf is also overflowing with beauty bibles and health books. Plus who else is ordering Tanya and Fleur’s new books. Pre-ordered and proud! Cannot wait to read both (they have since arrived).
Lucy Meck’s book is the latest to join the shelf. Body Beautiful is an excellent read. I mean, who would not want to look like that. Seriously she has a rocking body. Armed with a Breville juicer and copious amounts of fruit and vegetables, I can feel the green smoothies coming on. Plus Lucy also gives advice on confidence and her top makeup products. Really enjoying this.
To add to the camouflage (i.e. concealer) drawer, I found this on my latest rummage in Superdrug. MUA’s multicoloured Pro Base Prime and Concealer looks interesting. A baked powder with colour correcting pigments. I cannot wait to get started on this.
On the other end of the scale is Chantecaille’s Lucky lip gloss. Amelia Liana has run on about this sooo much, I thought it must be amazing. The gloss itself is quite thick, it lasts ages on the lips, the shine and colour, aahhh heavenly. To die for. This is seriously beautiful.
Recently I placed an order to Sephora. Keen to try more make up from Tarte and being a foundation fanatic I decided to try Clay Airbrush Full Coverage, Years ago I was in love with Bare Minerals, so it seemed as good a time as any to step away from liquid foundation and head over to powder territory.
Last off are Tanya’s lashes. I picked up the most natural of the range. After having a practice run, they look pretty good and life-like. Impressed so far. I have never been a fake lash fiend, but it is something I would like to master to pair with a smokey eye.
