Being a lover of benefit’s makeup and their quirky packaging, it was no surprise to me that temptation took over and Majorette was quickly added to my Feel Unique basket.
First off, let’s appreciate that packaging. Majorette is more often associated with baton twirling, than makeup. This little pot of joy looks more like a macaroon. Seriously kitsch and proudly displayed on my makeup area. Far too pretty to hide away.
The gorgeous coral/peach/orange toned cream to powder blush, seriously peps up the skin. Designed to be worn under your favourite blush, this really intensifies the colour. Majorette is in fact perfect worn alone or to prolong the wear of your blush leaving a beautiful glow. Ideal for dry skin, this concoction does not cling to dry patches. Trust me, I have dry patches and it doesn’t.
To apply this wonder product, I use my fingers to add the smallest amount to the apples of my cheeks. It is oh, so creamy and beautiful to blend. Hard to apply with a brush, the warmth of your fingers help to work the product into your skin beautifully.
Since purchase, this has become an every day essential worn alone or paired with any blush of choice. Note: It works particularly well with Rockateur and also the Balm’s Frat Boy (one of my all time favourites).
