Always harping on about skincare. I am very much a face mask fanatic. If it’s on the market, more than likely it has graced my face at some point or another.
That is, until I discovered Love Lettuce by Lush. I hadn’t even heard of this until I was browsing Lush’s website the other day, stocking up on their Easter bath bombs. It has already made it to the top of the ranks, after just one use. Similar to Glam Glow in texture and colour (just slightly on the more green side). Gentle on the skin, this exfoliating mask makes skin glow and feel so soft and smooth.
Needing the smallest amount the almond oil and almond shells slough away any dead or dry skin leaving a fresh, renewed base. The lavender makes this a perfect evening mask, to make you feel relaxed and drift off.
Lush recommend you leave this on for 5-10 minutes. As it is so gentle, I left on for the maximum time. Before using this my sensitive skin was slightly irritated, dry and needed a good exfoliation. Love Lettuce is perfect to combat all 3 of these problems. If you do not have time to just chill and soak in the bath, using the tiniest amount, this makes for a great, quick exfoliator, leaving you with smooth polished skin.
As the mask is fresh, Lush recommend keeping in the fridge. I have been using twice a week and think the 75g pot is ideal, as will just about be used up within the months expiry date. Any longer and I think I would waste some of the product.
Now an absolute staple in my routine, I think I may have just found my favourite new face mask. I just Love Lettuce!
