Whether you’re jetting off for a beach holiday, a skiing trip or living it up on a city break, there’s always a few essentials I would recommend to take on the plane.
Of course, in reality I am quite sure that I take much more than these 5 products, however these 5 leave me feeling refreshed as I land on the tarmac. And to me are essential.
Staying hydrated is key on a plane, with the A/C blasting away, I always take a face mist to keep spritzing and to keep my skin happy (along with drinking as much water as I can). Many a time have I read blogs and watched YouTube videos where bloggers recommend a hydrating face mask. I mean sure that would be amazing in a ideal world (and maybe I might be tempted if flying long haul), however it’s not very practical and how many people really, do you see with said face mask?
I for one have never seen anyone sporting/applying a face mask. Guaranteed if you do, this is probably a beauty junkie or blogger! This summer I am taking Jurlique’s trusty Rosewater Balancing Mist.
To tend to cuticles and any dry spots this Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream from Burt’s Bees is ideal for travel. This multipurpose gem is indeed perfect for dry, rough cuticles and helps to keep them hydrated. It’s great to use as a lip balm, to keep eyebrows in place and to rub into any dry areas.
Carmex is one of the best lip balms I have ever tried. As well as packing a cuticle balm I do like to take a lip balm intended to be used on the lips. Whenever I have dry lips, especially in the winter, this balm is the bomb. So flying away, this lip balm is the perfect accompaniment.
Don’t neglect the hands either. I am really enjoying L’Occitane’s Iris Bleu hand cream at the moment. The shea butter leaves hands nourished and being non- greasy, this is ideal for your time in the sky.
Last off I have to take an antibac hand gel. Any will do. Malibu Sunset from Bath and Body Works is perfect to keep those fingers and hands germ free.
I can’t believe I forgot to include face wipes in my 5. These go with me everywhere and are perfect for a quick freshen up. Simple Micellar Wipes are my current favourite and perfect for even sensitive skin. Or even baby wipes for my hands and to wipe down the tray tables!
