One Blush You Need to Own in Your Makeup Collection: The Balm’s Frat Boy.
September 15, 2015
One product guaranteed to perk me up, if I’m feeling a little washed-out or under the weather is the Balm’s Frat Boy. This peachy/pink blush will guarantee you look slightly more human, pretty and polished.
First off, I love the Balm’s packaging and Frat Boy is no exception. Slightly cheeky with a retro theme, the cardboard packaging is sturdy and closes with a magnetic strip.
This universal shade is perfect for anyone, even myself, with a fair/rosy cheeked complexion, this blush stands out on my cheeks and leaves a very pretty, subtle finish.
It is soft and easy to blend, and the staying power is pretty amazing. If I want makeup to last all day (and I mean all day from 8am to 10pm), I will use Estee Lauder Doublewear Foundation as my base, a little pressed powder to set and a touch of Frat Boy to finish off with. It does not fade and will only budge when you reach for that micellar water.
Frat boy is matte, there is no glitter or shimmer. It really gives a lovely flush to the cheeks, so is perfect for a subtle day time look. However you could also build the intensity for evening, add a highlighter and you would be good to go.
One blush you need to add to your collection, this is seriously good stuff.
