Never have I used a cleanser which suits my dry skin quite so much. I have often said right here on BBB, that yes, I love makeup and love blending in foundation and slapping on mascara, however at the end of the day, I love removing makeup even more. Lush’s 9 To 5 Cleansing Lotion has fast become a favourite in my stash and a permanent fixture my bathroom shelf.
In the usual Lush packaging, this bottle comes with a flip-top lid. Available in 95g (£5.10) or 240g (£9.75), the smaller size is ideal for travelling with. Obviously, it’s more economical to opt for the larger size, however the small bottle has lasted me around 6 weeks (using twice daily). So it’s still pretty good value for money.
Lighweight, you only need a small amount of this to remove every last scrap of dirt from your face. It is gentle enough to use on the most sensitive of eyes and the orchid, almond and essential oils leave skin smooth and soft.
After using this and finishing with a spritz of La Roche Posay’s Serozinc, I almost feel there is no need to use a moisturiser afterwards (I still do). It leaves skin feeling so hydrated and renewed that if you were strapped for time it wouldn’t be essential to follow with your moisturiser of choice.
9 To 5, seems to leave skin balanced, refreshed and with no oily residue. The scent is subtle, it just smells clean, so is suitable for the most sensitive skin.
If you haven’t managed to try this quite frankly brilliant cleanser, I highly suggest you pop into your local Lush and ask them for a sample. I have noticed such a difference since starting to use this. Skin feels soft, looks plump, feels hydrated and I have had less hormonal spots.
It is certainly one to add to your shopping list.
