A New Discovery: Lottie London Soap Star Brush Cleanser.

Lottie London Soap Star Brush Cleaner
If you’ve been reading for a while, you will know I am obsessed with tidying and cleaning and sadly I actually enjoy washing my makeup brushes. It’s so satisfying to see all that dirt and crap washed down the drain. For ages I have been using Dr Bronner’s Organic Liquid Soap (I don’t mind on the scent, they all do exactly the same job), however I am also partial to a solid brush cleanser. You can see how I rate Beauty Blender’s version here. Anyway, when Lottie released their version on the high street (Superdrug), it was time to try their version and see how it compares.

In the above photo, you will see some well loved/used brushes. Mucky and in need of a clean, ten minutes later and from the below picture you will see squeaky clean brushes.

To use:
1. Wet brush with warm water.
2. Swirl brush into the soap, working up a lather.
3. Rinse well. Squeeze excess water out. Place on clean towel and air dry.
4. Drain excess water from brush cleaner container.
After ten minutes I had washed all the above brushes and they looked like new. Lottie’s Soap Star Brush Cleanser leaves brushes deeply cleansed, removing all traces of dirt and bacteria. After a couple of hours the brushes were nearly completely dry and the bristles extremely soft (due to the shea butter and coconut oil). It was quite a while ago that I tried Beauty Blender’s version, however from what I remember, this is certainly a great dupe for a fraction of the price.
This is definitely one to add the re-purchase list. Quite frankly, it’s excellent.
