Let me start by saying that I’m sorry this post is a few days late, the weeks are just flying by and somehow I seemed to have lost track of time, I mean can you really believe it’s April already? It’s that time of the month where the favourites come out in full force. For the month of March I seemed to discover a few cracking new products and am excited to share with you.
As always my cuticles are in need of some serious TLC. Eve Lom’s Cuticle Cream seems to have come along just at the right time. A thick cream packed with a cocktail of protective waxes and vitamins, it soaks in incredibly quickly and so far is doing a fantastic job at repairing those dry, flaky nail beds.
Makeup wise, I just had to show you the front of this Clinique palette. Compact and a gift with purchase how incredibly cute is it? A trio of plum eye shadows, I cannot wait to try this. Yes, I’ve not actually applied it to the eyes yet, however the packaging is worth a mention and on a quick swatch the eyeshadows appear buttery. High hopes!
For ages I wondered how I managed without a primer. Makeup really does last so much longer on the skin. There are a tonne of primers on the market all for all number of problems. Imagine my delight when Clinique released their Superprimer for redness. Instantly I was sold. This lightweight, somewhat hydrating primer calms the skin down to leave less redness, a smooth base and prolongs makeup wear. Suffer from any kind of redness? This is definitely one to add to your list.
As you all know, I love skincare and keeping my complexion clear. Through March I have been loving 2 face masks, Kiehl’s Turmeric and Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Mask and Seventh Heaven’s one use Coffee Mocha Mud. Both smell amazing and works wonders to leave skin refreshed, smooth and so soft. If you don’t want to spend as much for a mask as the Kiehl’s one, I highly recommend stocking up on the Coffee Mocha. Around £1 a sachet and available pretty much everywhere.
First Aid Beauty’s Facial Radiance Pads (rebranded as Blemish Patrol Pads) are a quick and efficient way to tone the skin after cleansing. Since using these my skin doesn’t appear to have had any problem areas. The pads are quite astringent though so avoid the eye area and make sure you moisturise well afterwards, otherwise they can dry the skin out. Perfect to travel with if you have any holidays booked.
I couldn’t finish without mentioning this Kate Spade inspired notebook. Tesco are currently stocking a tonne of stationery items with this cream and gold dot print, so if you, like me are a notepad/stationery fiend head there now before they sell out. I have also stocked up on some rather snazzy storage boxes (in the same design) and for a few pounds it really does give you the Kate look for much less.
What have you guys been loving through March? Anything I need to give a whirl?
