Budget Beauty: Avon’s Pore Penetrating Black Mineral Mask.
September 16, 2016
I first published this post way back in March 2014.
Avon’s Pore Penetrating Black Mineral Mask was a firm favourite back then and is now a re-discovery. I have taken a slightly better photo and thought I would re-publish for those of you who missed it. It’s an absolute cracker! Onto the post…
When the girls came around at work with the latest Avon book, I couldn’t wait to try this mask, I’m a sucker for a face mask and it has become an integral part of my pamper nights. I was chuffed when I saw this in the book for just £5. I had great expectations as clay type masks are my absolute favourite and suit my dry skin. The packaging is very basic, but at £5, you can’t really complain. Currently on offer for £3!
This ‘Pore Penetrating’ Black Mineral Mask contains 0.5% Salicylic Acid and a blend of mineral clay, which penetrate the pores removing pore clogging oil, Avon claim like a ‘magnet’.
Apply a thin layer to the face, waiting for the mask to transform from black to grey (takes around 10-15 minutes).
Once dry rinse with warm water and pat dry.
Use 2-3 times per week.
I enjoyed using this, the mask provided a cooling sensation and felt like it was tightening the skin. Skin felt much smoother, softer and squeaky clean. I often suffer from easily irritated skin and redness, this seemed to calm my skin right down.
I am really impressed with this. Avon’s Pore Penetrating mask is a stand out product from the brand. If this was £25, it would still feature in my skincare routine. A really great alternative to GlamGlow, which essentially does the same thing.
