It seems a long time ago, I last published a haul on BBB. I have been picking up bits and pieces from all over the place over the last couple of weeks so it only seems right to let you in on the products I am most excited about.
I have also spent a little time in front of the camera, trying to capture some half decent fashion shots. I am by no means a natural and feel most awkward. For the development and growth of my blog I feel it is somewhat essential. If you missed my mini high street fashion haul, head here. Carrying on with beauty for now, let’s start with:
Any product which works its magic when I’m catching some z’s is OK by me. When I came across this Pumpkin Sleeping mask in Selfridges, from Too Cool For School, I knew this was a product I wanted to give a home to. At the time of writing, I haven’t tried any of these products yet, however with promises of intense hydration, this thick cream certainly sounds like something my parched skin will love. And as Korean skincare is well known for being exceptional, I am hopeful.
Believe it or not, but even with a tonne of cleansers in my collections, I seem to be using up oils rather quickly at the moment. Don’t you just hate it, when you seem to run our of all of your favourite products at the same time?
I’ve been using cleansing oils for a while now and fancied a change. When I heard good reports on Pixi’s reasonably priced Cleansing Balm, it was time to invest. I’ll let you know how it goes.
For the lips, Sephora came up trumps with Smith’s Rosebud Salve. A classic balm. Think tinted Vaseline and you’re there. I did purchase this salve with a few other products weeks ago, somehow it got missed and I thought it deserved a mention. On first impressions, I prefer this to Vaseline lip balm.
For a facial detox, I decided to give Origins By All Green’s Foam Cleanser a whirl. This is catered for dry skin. Packed with Green Tea, Spirulina and Spinach, this 2-in-1 cleanser and mask is designed to unclog pores and detoxify. The write up on this sounds too good to be true. Being a dry skinned, skin junkie, this was one mask I wanted to add to my mask cupboard. Yes, my masks have their own cupboard.
Chanel’s new collection is just beautiful. The standout product for me is the limited edition Nail Gloss. Looking at the bottle, I was prepared for a sheer tint of raspberry on the nails. However after a quick swatch I was surprised that after 2 coats, I was left with an opaque coral/red gloss. I am excited to sit down and paint my nails properly with this. It seems lovely.
Have you tried any of these products? What do you think? Is there anything I need to try/add to my collection?
