A Cult Favourite: Guerlain Pearl Meteorites (Clair 02).
November 8, 2016
My beauty obsession started many years ago and one of the first higher end items that took my fancy and indeed pride of place on my dresser was Benefit’s Hoola. I dabbled with high street makeup for a while, however my love for luxury products has always remained. Owning special, high-end products which make me feel great when I use them are sometimes worth the higher price tag. Of course, they can’t take up space in my collection if they don’t pay their way. As well as looking fabulous and shiny, they must deliver what they promise.
I’d be lying if I said I didn’t buy this for the packaging, I did. I didn’t even research reviews, I saw the pretty circular box and was instantly hooked. It took me a while to hand over my hard earned cash mind, but boy am I glad I did!
The combination of these magic pearls is something really quite special. A quick swirl in the pot with a big fluffy brush sets and finishes makeup off perfectly. The texture is so fine and the colours blended together leave a soft glow to the skin. I’ve tried and it’s almost impossible to over apply. The distinct Parma Violet scent evokes happy childhood memories, although this is one luxurious, grown up product which oozes class.
Guerlain’s Meteorites even skin tone, leave a beautiful finish and soft glow to the face. Swiped over the skin, the pearls help to mattify shiny areas of the skin, while still leaving a lovely luminous glow to the skin.
This product is known as a cult favourite and it’s very easy to see why. I’m completely smitten.
Have you tried this? What do you think? An extravagant buy which falls short or something incredibly special?
