The Mascara Which Does It All: Bourjois Volume Reveal Mascara.
November 20, 2016
I have a new favourite mascara. Wow! I know. I could hardly believe it either.
YSL’s Babydoll and Benefit’s Rollerlash have long reigned supreme. That is until Volume Reveal from Bourjois landed on the scene. Best of all its drugstore. Much cheaper and in my book just as good. Here’s why I love Volume Reveal so much.
First off let’s talk about that packaging. Slender and black with a magnifying mirror on the side (3 times). The mirror is the most perfect accompaniment to apply mascara both at home and on the go. The mirror is so good it highlights every single lash making it easy to coat every one, without any being forgotten. It also magnifies just how much attention my eyebrows need right now. I must head to the brow bar asap for thread and tint.
The brush is fairly small, plastic and super flexible. It makes it extremely easy to coat every lash. Formula wise it is slightly wet however not so it creates a sticky mess. Lashes curl beautifully (without the need for an eyelash curler) and it’s easy to amp up the volume. Even after 3 coats there wasn’t a clump in sight, just long separated lashes with a surprising amount of length.
As the bristles on the wand are quite fine it is also easy to coat bottom lashes without the need to use a different mascara. Clinique Bottom Lash I am looking at you.
It is so much easier to use a mascara which does everything. Volume Reveal is a must have for any makeup bag. This is one of those products which you hope to like but in actual fact fall quite in love with. And at the end of the day when it’s time to remove everything, this mascara melts away with minimal fuss. Using Garnier’s Oil Infused Micellar water is the perfect product to remove all traces quickly and efficiently.
