It seems a while ago, that I last published a favourites post. Time passes so quickly and before you know it 2 or 3 months have been and gone. I promised a favourites post in November and here are the products which have been floating my boat.
Surprisingly no makeup products feature, it seems I have been using the same old products daily.
Being the skincare addict that I am, skincare features predominantly, alongside a rather fantastic book and ‘oh so soft help me to keep warm’ scarf.
The first product to get a massive thumbs up this month is Botanics Rosewater Toning Spritz. The most beautiful rose scented facial mist which refreshes and soothes tired/irritated skin. Recently I tried Chantecaille’s bank-breaking Pure Rosewater which was lovely, however Boots’ own version is just as lovely and much more suited for those watching the pennies.
Using a combination of Palmers Coconut Body Oil and Lucky Cloud’s uber rich Sweet Orange and Vanilla Body Butter has improved my dry skin texture no-end. Yes, I know, it’s a hassle moisturising daily, especially when it’s cold and you just want to crawl into those snuggly jim-jams. However this Coconut Body Oil soaks in so quickly; a quick spritz, rub and voila it’s done. The coconut scent quickly transports me to the summer so evokes happy feelings. When I feel the need for an extra hydration boost, I pull out this body butter from Lucky Cloud. Rich, creamy and leaves skin lovely and smooth.
Bedtime reading comes courtesy of Pixiwoo. Their fabulous Face book is packed with awesome photos. informative tutorials and tips on how to make the most of your features. This ranks highly among the many beauty books on my bookshelf.
To take care of my White Company Bed Socks, I have tried these cashmere loving sachets from Soak. A quick wash using this and they are shop worthy once more. Soft, smelling fresh and lovely.
Fashion wise I haven’t removed this ultra snuggly and soft scarf from Joules. When I have to venture outside and leave the bed socks at home, I warm up with this checked beauty. It brightens up any plain outfit and is sure to stay with me until the warmer weather arrives.
What have you been loving this month? What’s top of your list?
