Every new product I try deserves a mention on my blog. Good, bad or indifferent.
You’re quite possibly a beauty blogger reading this and if that’s the case you will understand how some products slip under the radar and are sometimes forgotten. Today I need to share a small gem with you. A product which cuts down on time consuming foot filing, works quickly and makes feet look and feel like new. I’ve always had dry skin and as I’ve become older noticed the skin around my heels rapidly decline. Unsightly, cracked sore heels which a foot file, or pedicure just wouldn’t or couldn’t fix.
This is where Oh K’s Fruit Enriched Peeling Foot Mask comes in. As with most foot masks, the box includes fetching plastic socks. There is also a packet of Foot Essence which is split into two (for each foot). The idea being you place your feet in the socks and pour a packet of the Essence into each sock. There is a sticky tab at the top to secure each sock onto the foot. I find that wearing a comfy pair of thick bed socks over the top keeps feet warm and the plastic socks in place. I do all of this after a warm bath when my feet are dry. I leave the socks on for the recommended, maximum time of 90 minutes and then rinse and dry my feet.
The liquid is packed with fruit extracts which polish away the dead skin cells. The results are by no means instant, however you will feel a tingly sensation for a while afterwards and feet feel really cool.
After a few days all the dead skin (as gross as it sounds), seems to dissolve and shed off. Much like sunburn but it seems on a larger scale. Using a clean sponge to gently buff the feet after a good soak seems to speed up the process.
After a week, there is no sign of dry, cracked heels. My feet feel soft, renewed and look the best they’ve looked in years. To continue with my foot maintenance I have been using an intensive foot cream nightly after bath time.
For anyone with seriously dry, cracked feet these socks are a Godsend and I urge you to try. There’s no endless hours of foot filing and every hard bit of skin literally melts away. I cannot recommend these enough to anyone with problematic feet.
Get yours now for just £7. Using these are seriously better than any pedicure appointment. They’re magic!
