A luxe hydrating moisturiser from Chanel. Aesthetically it looks the business but is Hydra Beauty worth parting your money with?
It’s Sunday afternoon in the Piccaver/Stanley household and after a morning of perusing shoe storage online, ordering jade facial rollers, drinking tea, wrapping birthday gifts and stocking up on sandwich making material for the following week, it was time to edit and publish this post.
Today I bring to you Chanel Hydra Beauty Nutrition Cream. Expensive? Yes. Worth every penny? Absolutely.
I’m always on the hunt for new skincare to add to my routine. Something which works better than its predecessor. Now in my thirties my skin needs looking after more than ever. I have always taken my makeup off before bed, drunk water and have never been a smoker.
Along with good genes and a country ‘fresh-air’ lifestyle I do feel my skin has been looked after fairly well through the years. Although at times it can feel tight, dry and in need of a little nourishment.
I have been trialling Chanel’s Hydra Beauty Nutrition Cream for a few weeks now. If you really want to know why this cream is worth dropping £55 on, then keep reading.
Extract from Camellia Flower (which helps to hydrate the skin and maintain optimal moisture levels). Blue Ginger to reinforce the cellular self-defense system. Camellia Oil. Dermatologically tested.
Hydra Beauty Nutrition smells expensive. Delicately scented of rose petals, this cream is thick and luxurious to the touch. A little really does go a long way and the product sinks into the skin beautifully to leave skin feeling smooth, baby soft and nourished.
The non-greasy formula is a pleasure to use and works a treat even on slightly irritated skin. It soothes, hydrates and nourishes the complexion in the most beautiful way possible.
You can tell this is expensive stuff just by touch and scent alone. A cracking face cream to me is a daily essential, while some are just slapped on as part of going through the motions, Chanel’s offering is a real treat and actually rather enjoyable to use.
After using for 4 weeks Chanel claim that skin will be ‘comfortable and repaired’. Even after the first use, my skin felt less irritated and much more hydrated. It was literally glowing.
Chanel Hydra Beauty Nutrition Cream is seriously excellent stuff and a real contender for the best moisturiser I have ever used. Also perfect to use as a rich overnight mask for the skin, I am not quite sure I would want to apply a thick layer. Only for the thought of laying there wondering how many pounds had soaked into my pillow case instead of into my skin.
Hydra Beauty Nutrition really is a joy to use. The most beautifully scented product to leave skin feeling and looking its very best.
Perfect to use alone or as a base before makeup, Nutrition really is a special product and really does add a little something extra to the skin. One product I will not run out of and worth every single dollar spent.
